I finally was able to respond to your comments on my previous post from Friday, and it’s freaking Wednesday already! I have been out of school for a week and I was hoping that I would have more free time, but sadly that hasn’t been the case.

I’ll just give you a BRIEF summary of what I did since Friday.

Saturday: I spent almost forever doing my sister’s hands and feet. I posted pictures on IG   and she already has taken it off! All of my hand work for nothing! Well not really I need the practice. I want to start doing nail art from my home and I need to work on my time. I didn’t think I took that long but I guess I do because it has to be perfect since I’m so anal about how the nails look. I also blow dried my mom’s hair.

Sunday: I attempted to do some winter nail art with stamping.. I’m not really good with stamping yet, I want more stamps!! But I can’t spend any money on nail stuff, I’ve been really good so far! It’s been over a month maybe two months since I have spent any money and I feel kind of guilty.. because I “window shop” and I have to talk myself out of it..

When my parents came back from breakfast, I went with my mom to the paint store and I FINALLY bought my “happy yellow” paint to paint my room! It’s been like four years that I have been wanting to change the color of my room and fix it up, but it seems that I was always crazy busy on the weekends to get it done. But no more I said and I made my dad paint my room! We started at 1:00pm and half way through we ran out of paint! The yellow that I picked was Fiesta Yellow and it was crazy BRIGHT… like holy crap BRIGHT… Glow in the dark bright..lol So I went back to the paint store and bought a yellow two shades lighter. When I got home my dad was like why would you get a different shade of paint… I said to him “um hello didn’t you say this color looks like shit and I should get a different color”… he said “I didn’t say to get a different color, now we have to wait for this coat to dry completely because then it’s really going to look like shit”… such a bummer. So we waited and I cleaned the patio. Finally around 4:00pm he started again and guess what we needs another gallon of paint! But the store was closed so my room wasn’t going to be finished… I really wanted to put up my polish racks..hahaha

Monday: I cleaned the house and did my laundry before going to work. After work I went to the paint store and purchased hopefully the last gallon of paint that I would need to finish painting my room. I was so tired and I just laid on the couch and I couldn’t move.. after driving my mom around Miami, going to CVS, the bank and then to my grandma’s house to drop her off.  My dad was too tired to finish painting…. such a bummer.

Tuesday: FINALLY my room is finished! All we have to do now is paint the baseboards and the doors. I’m going to do a post about it when it’s all done 🙂 I’m so happy with my yellow walls.

Ok so I have been wanting to post this polish since I swatched it! When I received this shade, the first thing that came out of my mouth was “holy shit” that is AWESOME!! Total Pink Bomb is amazing!! If you like pink polishes, you need this shade in your collection!!

Description:

“Total Pink Bomb” is the third polish in the scattered holo’s collection. It’s a gorgeous bright pink based polish with loads of shimmer. It is also loaded with coarse and fine holographic glitters. You don’t need undies with this polish, which is awesome! The polish is brighter than in the pictures posted. I took these pictures outside in the sunlight because they look better than the pictures I took with flash.

Formula:

The formula goes on extremely smooth, Wing Dust Collection’s polishes have outstanding formulas! Total Pink Bomb is very easy to work with on the nail and it levels out beautifully. This nail polish shines like glass, it’s the perfect pink glitter sparkle polish, I am so in love with it.

That is absolutely beautiful! Wow. And argh on the repainting – it’s always the way, though, and sounds like you (and your dad!) handled it awesomely 😀
