Twolacqueredgirls.com reviews: Own Skin Health Refining Moisture Night Cream #ownifabbo #ownatulta

(These products were sent to me for my honest opinion)

Ok I have to confess that I don’t really remember to put cream on my face or body daily. I know that it should be like second nature but sometimes I forget; though I always remember to lotion my feet before leaving the house because I only wear sandals or flip flops. Since I have combination skin and my T-zone is kind of greasy I don’t really like to put on cream daily. I wash my face every morning to wake up and I wash my face when I take a shower with a moisturizing cleanser and I only put lotion on if I truly need it. When I logged onto the iFabbo website and saw that I could receive a sample of  a night cream from Own, I jumped on the chance since I have never used a “night” cream before.

Own’s Refining Moisture Night Cream has a light aroma and is velvety soft. I started to use this night cream about four weeks ago on my face and neck area, so my review can only go so far because I don’t believe that you can see the results that Own claims/makes on this product since it says that you are able to see results in about 8 to 12 weeks of use, though I’m not really sure what they are claiming that the night cream should do since it has same stats and claims as the eye cream. However I will review the results that I have gotten within the past four weeks of daily use and I will report back in  four to six weeks with my findings.

Own states that:

Hydrate and illuminate your skin nightly with a luxurious formula designed to fight all three causes of aging while you rest. Own Anti-Aging Refining Night Cream features clinically proven CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid) technology, a plant-based ingredient designed to enhance collagen levels, improve moisture retention, and boost metabolism for softer, smoother, and genuinely younger-looking skin. 94% of women who tried Own Anti-Aging Refining Night Cream reported that it absorbs easily and penetrates the skin quickly.

In as early as 8 weeks, Own Anti-Aging products have been clinically proven to:

Boost collagen for firmer and fuller-looking skin.

Enhance cell turnover for a more even skin tone.

Improver skin’s moisture barrier for softer and smoother skin.

In just 8 weeks, results showed a 61% reduction in the appearance of crow’s feet.

In just 8 weeks, results showed over a 30% decrease in the appearance of wrinkles around the eye area.

In just 8 weeks, 83% of women reported their skin more moisturized and silky soft to the touch.

**Same stats as the eye cream**

CLA Formulation:

Retinol-free formula

No irritation, redness or flakiness

Dermatologist-tested

Paraben and sulfate-free

Absorbs quickly (90% of women agree)

After using the cream every night for four weeks I can tell you that:

My skin felt softer to the touch and my face seemed brighter. The night cream has a very soft and expensive feeling texture, it does absorb quickly without feeling greasy and a little dab goes a long way, I still have about half of the tub left. I like that testing the night cream has helped me get somewhat of a nightly routine going and that I now remember to put cream all over the place before laying down to go to sleep.

As for the company’s claims and their stats:

Boost collagen for firmer and fuller-looking skin.

Enhance cell turnover for a more even skin tone.

Improver skin’s moisture barrier for softer and smoother skin.

*My skin doesn’t seem firmer or fuller-looking.

*I can’t see a change in the pigmentation of the skin but it does seem brighter.

* My skin is softer after using the night cream for four weeks so far.

(Same stats as the eye cream)

*Since I have been using the cream for four weeks I have not seen a difference in the appearance of crow’s feet since my “crow’s feet” aren’t long or deep and I haven’t seen a difference in my laugh lines either.

*Since I have been using the cream for four weeks I have not seen a difference in the appearance of the creases on the on my lower eye lids.

*Since I have been using the cream for four weeks I have noticed a difference in the softness of my skin.

*NOTE: I’m only 24 so it’s not like I have super deep crow’s feet or wrinkles to get rid off, but I hope that with the use of this cream I am helping to prevent getting them. Also, after studying accounting and taking different levels of math and stat courses, I never trust companies that are trying to sell you a product that uses “stats” to do so, since those percentages can be easily manipulated in their favor and I’m not really sure how the eye cream and the night cream can have the same stats. That’s one of the reasons why I like to read reviews from trusted bloggers and I hope that is what you expect from me as well.

Ok so I will report back in 4 to 6 weeks with more results.

**Own also has a cool app that you can download to track your skin’s improvement. I’ll have mine up for you when I have finished testing.

Price: $24.99 for a 1.7 oz tub.
